Testing accommodations

If you have a disability or a health-related need, accommodations can help you test on equal terms. Here’s how the process works.

Request accommodations through your exam provider

Testing accommodations are approved by your exam provider or test sponsor, not by the test center. Request them before you schedule your exam, and allow plenty of time: reviews often take several weeks and may require documentation.

  1. Find your exam program’s accommodations policy (links below) and submit a request with any documentation it asks for.
  2. Wait for written approval from your exam provider.
  3. Schedule your exam using the provider’s accommodations process. Some providers schedule accommodated exams for you, or ask you to call.
  4. Bring your approval details on test day.

If your accommodation isn’t on your booking, we can’t add it on the day, because changes must come from your exam provider. Check your confirmation before test day.

At our test centers

We work with each provider to deliver approved accommodations, which can include:

  • A separate testing room
  • Wheelchair-accessible facilities and workstations
  • Extra testing time or additional breaks
  • Approved assistive equipment or comfort aids

Have a question about the facilities before you book? Contact us or call 833-727-6387.
